Talkeetna Fishing Trips

Your friendly travel agent Karey Larson proudly displays her prize salmon, which she caught on a Clear Creek fishing trip.

Embark on a breathtakingly beautiful river excursion with a knowledgeable local Talkeetna fishing guide.  Talkeetna Travel offers both spin fishing trips and fly-fishing trips.  The Susitna, Talkeetna, Chulitna Rivers and the famous Clear Creek are filled with salmon, trout, and grayling.  I would have to say there's only one thing that beats a Talkeetna fishing trip in the sunshine:  coming home and cooking up your fresh fish and telling hilarious fishing stories while you savor your meal!

Fish the world-famous Clear Creek, which is home to the best King Salmon run in the Susitna Valley. Many travelers visit the mouth of Clear Creek, but few venture into the exciting headwaters of the river. A helicopter will leave us stream side as we begin the journey toward Talkeetna. The fishing for Rainbow trout is magnificent and the opportunities for salmon are endless. As we approach the village, this float encounters mild whitewater and great views of the Alaskan Range. This trip is tailored for the fishing enthusiast or extended day family adventure.

This trip takes you as close to Denali and the Alaska Range as you can get! Easily the most scenic float in
all of Alaska. During the float plane ride keep your eyes open for wildlife, glaciers and stunning views of
Denali. Then raft and fish your way into Denali National Park. Spend the evening at Tokosha Mountain Lodge, this homestead provides a cozy cabin, home cooked meals and live music. More views and fishing awaits as you float your way back to Talkeetna. Perfect family vacation for those who want to get away from the crowds.
